Envision the Future House Tour and Fundraiser

You are invited to join us on Sunday, October 19 from 1 – 4 pm at the Caldwell/Meints House in Oberlin, Ohio!
This beautiful building was designed by former Cleveland Orchestra musicians and Oberlin Conservatory professors James and Catharina Caldwell specifically for live performance of classical music.

“The music room was designed for our six to 10 friends who came at New Year’s every year to play a concert,” Catharina said. “We would have a weeklong house party as we rehearsed…”

When she was teaching music, Caldwell also invited her students to play their semester recitals in the house.

“The acoustics are perfect for classical music,” she said.

The afternoon will include a tour of the house hosted by Catharina, including the new in-house stained glass studio of Mary Zodnik (Zodnik Studios), the current owner.

Additionally, there will be a live musical performance in the Music Room, and a raffle of original artwork, all while enjoying catered drinks and nibbles.

All ticket sales for this event will include one raffle entry, and will directly benefit AAWR’s Envision the Future campaign to completely upgrade our Archival Storage Systems.
