The exhibition pairs 32 NEO artists with 32 pieces of work from the Kerry and C. Betty Davis collection of African American art. Many of the artists showcase discuss their process and motivations behind their works while exploring the themes of ancestry, family, injustice, and racism.

City Artists at Work, City Artists at Rest

A final retrospective of the work of City Artist’s at Work, a community-based group of artists in Cleveland. The organization’s final collaborative show and various aspects of their mission are displayed along with individual information about the artists involved in the CAAW. They aimed to educate the public and demystify the creation of art by allowing the public to enter into their studios annually.
