Biography
Dale Goode was born and raised in Cleveland where he continues to reside and produce artwork. He has pursued many different avenues of artwork such as painting, sculpture, and murals. Much of his work, regardless of medium, has been produced through the repurposing and recontextualizing unwanted areas and materials. He has built a strong connection to the Cleveland area and community which enhances his connection with places he creates his work by creating a place that betters the community around the work. He creates wall relief sculptures from much of this reclaimed material.
He graduated with an education from Hiram college as well as matriculated at Kent State’s MFA program. His work has been featured in many exhibitions including the FRONT international show, at the Butler Institute of American Art, the 2013 Kent State University Exhibition, and the 2000 ReVision Art Show. His work is included in many collections including the Progressive Insurance Corporate Collection, the Peter B. Lewis Collection, and the Butler Institute of American Art.
