For me, the experience of immersing myself in the location is just as important as the photograph. It is important to investigate the location from the smallest detail and how it relates to the environment, to the overall scene.  This approach allows me to find a composition that represents the vision I want to convey.  As a photographer, my mission is to make images that depict the relationship to my surroundings and the environment.
