Bias Something Vague

Something Vague  photosynthesis photograph19 x 22″  $700

My work tends to peer inside of the adolescent soul of the viewer, a time when our safe space was playing with the treasures of the earth. As an artist, I have dedicated my practice to using ephemeral objects often found in nature such as leaves or the use of ordinary objects found in everyday life that would otherwise be discarded coupled with old and new world photography. I use my process by taking the natural properties of the object using primitive photographic methodologies in congruency of an image of the human form, portrait or environment. By doing so, I wish to connect the fragility of nature to the strength and resilience, particularly in women, in these temporary works of art.
