Inspired by the escape of a sail, tropical laughter, bold seas and shore, Bob McNulty’s paint carvings evoke a world bright in revealed spirits and playful forms. Bob’s work intensive process involves the application of over a dozen coats of oil enamel paints on sheet metal and then the sanding back through a deep palette of colors. An industrial process born in the brick and rusted metal world of Cleveland, Ohio.
