The New Now is an exhibition of artists living in the counties of the Western Reserve that surround Cleveland. This is an all media competition juried by Chief Curator of the Akron Art Museum, Janice Driesbach. Driesbach has published and lectured extensively on the art of the 20th century. Nerve damage made it impossible for Kim Bissett to continue with her work in bronze and cast stone. She began constructing drawings instead where she applied what she knew of three dimensional space to her new, two dimensional medium.
