AAWR's membership program is designed to support its goal of preserving this region's visual artistic
legacy and as well as the histories and art of its archived artists. To that end, both artists and non-artists
(patron members) are welcome to join. The AAWR diligently works to create artistic and commercial
opportunities for its artist members and welcomes support from patron members to help us achieve our
vision of creating a sustainable visual arts community.
All members receive a subscription to ARTSWIRE, AAWR's quarterly newsletter. In addition, members
receive invitations to opening receptions, gallery talks, and other special events. All interested members
are eligible to receive discounts on workshops and demonstrations held at the AAWR. Artist members
also enjoy the opportunity to show and sell their art in two members exhibitions each year in the AAWR
gallery. Camaraderie and the opportunity to network with fellow members are also important benefits.
As a member, you'll also be doing your part to help preserve our region's visual artistic legacy!
Membership in AAWR is available in two categories: Artist and Patron. An annual tax deductible
contribution of $50 ($25 for students) per year is required to maintain membership. Student
membership benefits are identical to those of regular members.
