The Art of Giving: Progressive Insurance Opening Reception
November 8, 2012 Noon – 2 p.m.
We’re spotlighting the Alzheimer’s Association by featuring a stunning two-person art exhibition called, “Art Interprets Alzheimer’s.”Each year, Corporate Art and the Progressive Insurance Foundation proudly host a special collaborative initiative called The Art of Giving. This program celebrates art and the spirit of giving by presenting a curated exhibition that focuses on a particular health and human services organization.This year we’ve chosen the Alzheimer’s Association as our featured organization and it will be highlighted by the traveling exhibition called, “Art Interprets Alzheimer’s.” This unique two-person show includes a collection of captivating photographs by Herb Ascherman and stunning ceramic sculptures by George Roby. The pair of artists first launched their exhibition last March at the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve. After also showing at the McConnell Arts Center in Worthington, Ohio, and the Main Campus of University Hospitals, this heart-warming exhibition now visits Progressive’s Campus I in celebration of our annual Art of Giving campaign.Please join us for the opening reception on November 8 from Noon to 2 p.m. at the Campus I MainstreetExhibition Wall. You’ll have a chance to meet the artists and representatives from various affiliated organizations. In addition, there will be a panel of guest speakers beginning at 1 p.m.
