Created to preserve representative bodies of work created by Ohio visual artists, the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve is a "living archive". It holds frequent exhibitions at its modern facility in University Circle as well as ongoing exhibits at various corporate locations throughout the Greater Cleveland area. The Artists Archives fosters scholarly research and conducts educational outreach activities that teach students and community members about the value of art and the history of visual art and artists in our region. Like no other institution in the United States, the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve serves as a repository for artists looking for a place to preserve their work and also make their work accessible to the public.
AAWR gallery hours:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10-4
Saturday 12-4

Also open by appointment. Groups welcome.
